On May 4, 2022, the first consortium meeting of the UFO project took place at the Fraunhofer Institute in Stuttgart-Vaihingen. In addition to employees of the University of Stuttgart, representatives of auticon, NIRx, and Sensovo were present, who came from Berlin and Hamburg, among other places. For several hours, a lively exchange occurred between all project partners involved, giving rise to many new ideas. After all participants presented their current status in the first section, the second section focused primarily on the further procedure of the project. The central discussion during the consortium meeting focused on the upcoming planned studies, in which a training program will be developed to support the professional inclusion of autistic persons. In summary, it was a very successful day with many discussions and new impulses from the various experts, based on which the UFO project will continue to develop in a promising direction.
