As part of Women's Business Days 2020, leading female scientists and entrepreneurs from Cyber Valley discussed challenges and inspirations for their own careers on October 15. The event focused on female perspectives from fields such as machine learning, robotics, and human-computer interaction. Leading female scientists and entrepreneurs from the Cyber Valley ecosystem spoke about their career paths, who and what inspired them to pursue careers in science and technology, and the challenges they had to overcome along the way.

Jun.-Prof. Dr. Maria Wirzberger was also part of the panel and sent a clear message for greater visibility and diversity in STEM subjects. The discussion provided valuable insights into promoting female leadership in science and technology.

Cyber Valley is Europe's largest research consortium in the field of artificial intelligence, with partners from science, industry, and society. While women continue to be underrepresented in the natural and computer sciences, female scientists and entrepreneurs are increasingly making their way to the top of their respective fields.
