BMBF Networking Meeting in Berlin - 12 & 13.10.2022

This year's networking meeting for the BMBF funding measure series "Interactive Systems in Virtual and Real Spaces - Innovative Technologies for the Digital Society" took place on October 12 and 13, 2022, at the University of Economics and Law Berlin (Schöneberg Campus), hosted by VDI/VDE Innovation + Technology GmbH.

The aim was a comprehensive exchange between all projects funded by the BMBF within this series of measures. Therefore, the first results of a thorough evaluation of the LivingLab XR-Interact were presented, which resulted in networking recommendations for the different projects. Following this, the exchange could be intensified within various workshops with individual focal points, and shared strategies could be found and developed. Finally, a lightning round of presentations of all projects followed to find out about the respective status and the associated challenges and solution ideas on the one hand, discover concrete commonalities, and promote networking on the other hand further. Finally, on the second day of the event, overarching evaluation strategies were worked out together in a workshop to achieve their own goals in an effective and focused manner.

The members of the UFO project received valuable impulses for further work within this networking meeting and are looking forward to the upcoming exchange with other exciting projects and innovative technologies!
